Delete your account

Last updated 7 October 2026.

This page applies to the WeCertify mobile app and the WeCertify.pk website, operated by NOVACODE SOLUTIONS (PRIVATE) LIMITED. You can ask us to delete your account and the data linked to it at any time. You do not need to give a reason.

How to request deletion

  1. Email privacy@wecertify.pk with the subject "Delete my WeCertify account".
  2. Include the phone number or email address you use to sign in, so we can find the right account.
  3. We reply to confirm it is you. If you wrote from a different address, we send a confirmation to the phone number or email on the account first.
  4. We delete the account and email you when it is done.

What we delete

  • Your account and sign-in details: name, phone number and email address.
  • Your profile, including your CNIC and NTN.
  • Answers and figures you entered for returns and wealth statements, including unfinished drafts.
  • Documents and photos you uploaded, such as salary certificates and bank statements.
  • Your payment history with us.

What we keep, and for how long

If we prepared or filed a return for you, we keep the filing audit trail (the timestamped record of what was filed and when) for 7 years from that filing. Tax law in Pakistan requires these records to be kept. It is not used for anything else and is deleted when the period ends.

Returns already submitted to FBR stay with FBR. Deleting your WeCertify account does not withdraw a filed return or change your records on the IRIS portal.

How long it takes

We respond to every request within 14 business days. Once we have confirmed the request is yours, your account is closed and your data is deleted within 90 days. Deletion cannot be undone, and an unfinished return cannot be recovered afterwards.

Delete some data and keep your account

You can also ask us to delete specific data, such as an uploaded document or a draft return, without closing your account. Email privacy@wecertify.pk and tell us what to remove.

For how we handle your data in general, see our privacy policy.
