Terms of Service

1. The Agreement

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and WeCertify.pk. If you are using WeCertify on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business. “You” refers to both the individual user and any entity you represent.

2. Services

WeCertify provides Pakistan tax compliance services, including:

• Income tax return preparation and filing with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR)
• NTN (National Tax Number) registration
• Wealth Statement preparation
• ATL (Active Taxpayer List) status monitoring
• Diaspora-specific filing assistance for overseas Pakistanis

All filings are handled by qualified in-house Chartered Accountants and tax specialists. WeCertify is a technology platform that facilitates these professional services — it is not an accounting firm, and nothing on this platform constitutes personalised legal or financial advice beyond the scope of the filing service you have purchased.

We reserve the right to add, modify, or discontinue services with reasonable notice. Material changes that affect active subscriptions will be communicated by email.

3. Agent Authorisation

When you use WeCertify to file a tax return or register an NTN, you authorise WeCertify and its assigned consultant to act as your authorised representative (“wakeel”) with FBR for the specific filing covered by your active subscription. This authorisation:

• Covers only the tax year and service type specified in your filing request.
• Does not authorise us to make tax decisions on your behalf without your explicit approval — we will always present the return to you for review before submission.
• Can be revoked by you at any time by contacting support before submission.

You remain legally responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide. WeCertify prepares returns based on what you disclose — we are not liable for penalties arising from information you withheld or misrepresented.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Plans

WeCertify offers annual subscription plans. Current pricing is published on our pricing page. All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes where required.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed annually in advance. Domestic payments are processed via JazzCash and EasyPaisa. International payments are processed via Stripe (USD, GBP, AED). Payment is due at the time of purchase.

Renewal

Subscriptions do not auto-renew without your explicit action. We will email you 30 days and 7 days before your subscription expires to give you the opportunity to renew. If you do not renew, your account moves to a read-only state — you retain access to your filing history but cannot initiate new filings.

Price changes

We will notify you of any price increases at least 30 days before your renewal date. Continuing your subscription after that date constitutes acceptance of the new price.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day refund from the date of purchase if your filing has not yet been submitted to FBR. Once a return has been filed with FBR on your behalf, the subscription is considered fulfilled and no refund is due.

If we are unable to complete your filing due to an error on our part, we will either resolve the issue at no additional cost or provide a full refund at your choice.

Refunds for one-time services (e.g., NTN Registration) are available within 14 days if the application has not been submitted to FBR.

6. Your Obligations

By using WeCertify, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information for all filings.
• Upload genuine, unaltered documents (salary slips, bank statements, etc.).
• Respond to document requests from your assigned consultant within the timeframe specified to avoid missing FBR deadlines.
• Review your return before approving it for submission — your approval is your confirmation that the information is correct.
• Keep your account credentials confidential and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
• Not use WeCertify for any purpose that violates Pakistani law, including submitting false declarations to FBR.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• WeCertify is not liable for FBR penalties, surcharges, or enforcement actions that arise from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you.
• WeCertify is not liable for FBR system failures, portal downtime, or processing delays outside our control that cause a missed filing deadline.
• Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or our services is limited to the amount you paid for your current subscription year.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or business opportunities.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any matter that cannot be excluded by Pakistani law.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time from your profile settings. This does not automatically trigger a refund — refund eligibility is governed by Section 5.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, provide fraudulent information, or use WeCertify in a way that exposes us or other users to legal risk. We will give reasonable notice before termination except where immediate action is necessary to prevent harm.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore, Pakistan. For users residing outside Pakistan, this does not affect any mandatory consumer rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.
